Working Process, an
exhibition of sculpture by member Robert
Winkler, is July 2 to September 20, 2009 at YMI Cultural
Center in Asheville. The exhibition, which includes maquettes, models,
and works in progress, as well as finished works, traces the evolution
of Robert's signature style from 1990 to 2009. It offers a look at his
process for developing ideas and working through design and structural
problems before executing his full size works.
Gallery hours are 10am-5pm Tuesday through Friday (Saturday by appointment).
Admission is free. Field trips from all school levels are encouraged, and
guided tours can be arranged.
YMI Cultural Center is at 39 South Market Street in downtown Asheville.
